These terms govern your use of LeetCast, a podcast attribution platform. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. This document is written in plain language — it is not lawyer-reviewed.

Service description

LeetCast is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides podcast attribution analytics, SmartLinks (trackable short URLs for podcast episodes), and sponsor reporting tools.

Account terms

  • One account per email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • We use magic link authentication — there are no passwords to manage. Keep your email account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Subscription and billing

LeetCast uses Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, sales tax, VAT, and payment processing. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your billing relationship is with Lemon Squeezy.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (your choice).
  • Annual plans include a 15% discount.
  • Refund requests are handled by Lemon Squeezy per their refund policy.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

Free trial

Every paid tier includes a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. When the trial ends, your account automatically downgrades to the Free tier unless you subscribe.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use LeetCast for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access LeetCast outside of the documented API.
  • Generate artificial or fraudulent click data.
  • Use the service to distribute malware or spam.

Data and privacy

Your use of LeetCast is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Intellectual property

  • We own the platform: LeetCast, including the software, design, and branding, is our intellectual property.
  • You own your data: your podcast data, analytics data, and any content you provide remains yours. You can export it at any time.

Limitation of liability

LeetCast is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the service available, accurate, and reliable, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or accuracy of analytics data. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

  • By you: you can delete your account at any time. We provide data export (CSV) before deletion.
  • By us: we may terminate accounts that violate the acceptable use policy. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where LeetCast operates. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
